If you’re planning a vacation to Walt Disney World in autumn, you can celebrate both Halloween AND Christmas on the same trip. With a little advanced planning and a few trips to the official Walt Disney World website, there is a way to get the best of both holiday worlds.
My family loves visiting Walt Disney World for the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties and I’ve noticed that when we attend the last party of year (generally right around November 1st or 2nd), it seems as though the parks change from autumn decorations to Christmas decorations- overnight!
Here’s How to Celebrate Halloween and Christmas at Walt Disney World in One Trip:
If you plan your Walt Disney World vacation around the last Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party it’s completely doable.
Let’s take 2015 as an example.
- Last Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party: November 1, 2015
- First Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party: November 8, 2015
Perfect if you’re planning on vacationing for a week or more.
Can’t stay for a week and really don’t want to attend both parties? You’ll still have the pleasure of the Christmas decorations right after the last Halloween party. Have you ever attended both parties in one vacation? Please let me know what you thought of them in the comments section below!
