Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser will be a truly immersive experience at Walt Disney World, there’s no doubt. Once you’ve arrived, you’ll be seamlessly put into space and can choose the level of immersiveness. But what about the cost of this Star Wars hotel? Will it be worth the money? Here’s everything we know so far including cabin pricing and what’s included in a stay.
So far, we know that Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is bang next to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and will open in 2022. With the latest updates released today, the official Walt Disney World website is giving sample dates for fall 2022. Again, these are for sample pricing only, but at least we’re getting closer!
As for the teeny details (will the cabins use MagicMobile, etc.), we’re getting additional updates including dining on the starcruiser, and what to bring via the official website.
Some meals will be included in the two-night stay as well including a quick service meal in Galaxy’s Edge. Additionally, light breakfasts are included as well. In my humble opinion, if i’m paying thousands of dollars for a two-night stay, I’d like full sitdown-style meals included for at least lunch and dinner.
Guests will also receive a daily anytime pass to go to the front of the line for Rise of the Resistance, singlehandedly the most popular attraction in Disney’s Hollywood Studios at this point. Since Disney has nixed the virtual queue and has implemented Disney Genie+ as a paid option for the ride, having the ability to ride at your leisure is nice.
Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser Cabin Details
There are several options for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser cabins:
The lowest tier, the Standard Cabin, has the basics, and by basics I mean it’s completely decked out for 4-5 guests. There’s one queen bed plus two bunk beds that sleep one adult each. Additionally, there’s a pull-down wall bed for one adult.
The next tier for the Galactic Starcruiser is the Galaxy Class Suite. While it does sleep less guests (a maximum of four adults), it offers more spacious accommodations compliments of a dedicated seating area. This cabin also has two windows as opposed to the Standard cabin with a single space window.
The largest of the cabins in the Star Wars hotel, the Grand Captain Suite, is a two-bedroom cabin with room for eight passengers. It offers a Standard Cabin plus a main suite, two bathrooms, seating and bar areas, and three space windows.
