With only a few days at Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa, I was able to tour the property, check out the spa, and learn why this property is ideal for families visiting the area. Here’s my full review including photos details.
Disclosure: I was given a media rate to give you the scoop on why Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa is worth a visit. All opinions are my own!
Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa: An Overview & Our Room
Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa, located only a few minute’s drive from I-4 making the property ideally accessible to all of the theme parks in Orlando and Lake Buena Vista. An all-condo style resort, it has everything from one to four-bedroom suites.
Another sweet perk of the property are the two covered parking garages. As a northern gal, not having to melt in the sun when I got into my car was so nice.
Not only is it a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor hotel, it’s literally only a few minutes away from WDW property. As I love to time everything, from the resort road to the Disney arches was roughly five minutes for us. And if you like shopping, it’s literally a walk to one of the outlet centers.
Quick note about booking: the longer you stay, the more you save. Here’s the link to the resort’s booking page (not an affiliate link.)
Guest Suites/Condos
During our stay, we had the pleasure of test driving a two bedroom, two full bath suite. I’m not kidding when I write this, it was spotless and beautiful. Our beds were super comfy, the full kitchen ideal for making meals, and the balcony on the 14th floor facing the pool area was absolutely lovely.
The main master suite had a whirlpool tub that I used everyday, a separate shower, and was massive.
While I do enjoy walking to the lobby fro fresh coffee in the morning, I wasn’t mad at the full-sized coffee maker in the kitchen. We set it at night and only had to flip a switch in the morning for a full pot.

Location
Again, it’s only a couple of miles from I-4, just down the road from Disney Springs, and about 8 miles from the Universal Orlando Resort exit. We really loved the convenience of being pretty much close to everything including a Walmart and an outlet mall.
Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa: Amenities
If you’re not a fan of the parks, but a fan of a gorgeous property you’d never have to leave if you didn’t want to, this resort is a good one. It has washer/dryers in the condos, onsite dining, a massive zero depth entry pool, three outdoor hot tubs, and a spa (read below for the details).
LBV Resort Village and Spa also has free parking and free wifi – love that!
Also on property are the following dining locations:
- Lani’s Luau – A poolside bar/restaurant, it has everything from light bites to beer and margaritas.
- Frankie Farrell’s Irish Pub & Grille – Highly rated, it has traditional Irish food and 32 brews on tap.
- Pizza Hit Express – Offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can grab it to go or have it delivered to your room.
Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa: Pool
If you’ve looked up photos of the resort, you’ve undoubtedly seen the massive pirate ship in the middle of the pool. And while those photos are awesome, it really doesn’t do it a ton of justice as it’s HUGE. We could climb up to the top and use the water slide or just hang out.
Another nice feature for families is the fact that the pool is zero depth entry. Small kiddos can play at that end as well as there are water fun features. Of course. and you know this, never leave those kiddos unattended!
THE SPA!
Oh, man, The Spa. I was given a complimentary 60 minute tropical massage and after spending a week straight in the parks, I truly relished it. The Spa offers massages and facials, manis and pedis. There’s also a gorgeous relaxation room to use at your leisure if you’ve booked a session.
If not, it’s only $10 to use the relaxation room, sauna, & shower. While I was having a massage, my teen daughter spend an hour hanging out in the spa and enjoying the calm.
Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa: In a Nutshell
So, would I visit Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa again, even if I didn’t receive a media rate? Oh, you betcha, in a hot minute. The property was perfect for my family of three compliments of the extra space and two bathrooms. I really loved the washer and dryer as we didn’t have to head home with suitcases of dirty clothes, either.
The location is ideal, the amenities plentiful, and the guest service folks, so kind.
