If you’re already looking for Halloween crafting ideas, you’ve come to the right place. It’s my favorite holiday, especially when there are touches of Disney sprinkled all over it. I asked a few of my crafty friends to share with me their favorite Disney Halloween decorations and DIYs and each is so fun, I had to put them all in one place. Here are some super fun (and easy!) Disney Halloween crafts to make this year.
Disney Halloween Decorations & Craft DIYs
As soon as August rolls around, I’m itching to put up my Halloween decorations. And, compliments of Walt Disney World’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, I usually end up bringing home a few pieces to add to my collection every year. But this year I thought, hey, why not hit up my crafty friends and ask them for their favorite Disney Halloween crafts. Happily, they obliged and I have plenty of new Disney DIYs to keep me happy this Halloween.
Jack Skellington Welcome Mat Craft
If I’m being honest, “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and “Hocus Pocus” are my fave Disney Halloween movies. So, when Monica from Popcorner Reviews made this Jack Skellington Welcome Mat, it was a no-brainer to share how easy it’s done.
Minnie Mouse Witch Hat Wreath
I had to sneak my latest craft DIY into this list as I love it so much. Using all items from Dollar Tree, this Minnie Mouse Witch Hat wreath can be made for under $10.
Maui Halloween Costume
When my daughter was little, she practically lived in Disney costumes no matter what time of year. So, when Halloween would hit the shelves of our local Disney Store, I’d clean them out of costumes, especially after Halloween. Of course, this was back when the internet was new and there weren’t a lot of costume tutorials online.
Lindsay from See Lindsay created the most adorable DIY Maui costume from “Moana”. Using Iron-on vinyl and some basic clothing pieces, it’s a fun spin on the movies costume.
DIY Disney Pumpkin Applique Tee
Julie from Mom ReWritten comes up with some of the cutest crafts I’ve ever seen and her DIY Minnie or Mickey Pumpkin Appliqued T-Shirt is so adorable. I’m a new sewer but with her instructions, I feel like I can pull this one off.
Disney Inspired Pumpkins
I love making fancy jack-o-lanterns each year, especially if I use foam pumpkins. With a little glue, some, glitter, and ribbon (and a tiara or two), Melissa from The Farm Girl Gabs has created adorable, Disney inspired pumpkins for your porch and mantle.
DIY Disney Halloween Ornaments
Another craft from yours truly, last year I decorated my Halloween tree with these Mickey Halloween ornaments. I love how they turned out and plan on using them again this year.
Princess Leia Headband
Amy from the Bunny hops has loads of Halloween crafts with a Disney kick. From pumpkin tutorials to a Princess Leia headband, you’ll definitely want to check out her DIYs.
DIY Hocus Pocus Halloween Garland
Oh, Look! Another glorious Hocus Pocus craft!
All jokes aside, Monica from Popcorner Reviews has the cutest Hocus Pocus Halloween garland for your mantle. I seriously want to make this for mine this year.
Coco Sugar Skull Mask DIY
One of my daughter’s favorite Disney movies is “Coco”, so this super cute DIY 3D Printed Sugar Skull mask is perfect for Dia de los Muertos. Meghan from JaMonkey uses a 3D Doodler Pen and a simple craft mask but the results are so cool.
Hocus Pocus Mini Pumpkins
Just because Nicole from For the Love of Food’s website is mainly gastro-based, it doesn’t mean she can’t create some cute crafts, right? If you like pumpkins that are super cute but are fast to decorate, her Hocus Pocus Mini Pumpkins will be right up your alley.
Disney Halloween Tombstones
If you’ve walked through the Haunted Mansion queue at Walt Disney World, you’ve seen all of the cool tombstones surrounding it. There are ones with funny phrases, ones with Haunted Mansion characters on them, and even a pet cemetery with Mr. Toad.
Lisa and James from Adventures in Familyhood have taken their adoration for these tombstones (and from Zero’s in “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and created a fun Disney Halloween tombstone tutorial using inexpensive Halloween tombstones from their dollar store.
The Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween Decorations DIYs
Meghan from JaMonkey has a talent for making easy tutorials for “The Nightmare Before Christmas” Halloween decorations on her blog. She’s got everything for Jack and Sally jack-o-lanterns to a scary light-up tree for your porch.
Jack Skellington Cupcake Toppers
Another great craft from See Lindsay is a Jack Skellington Cupcake Toppers DIY. We all know Jack can pull a ton of faces from happy to scary and her toppers run the gamut of his emotions.
Vampirina Pumpkin Tutorial
Kayla from Mommy of a Princess is a professional party planner and she can create, folks! Her no cut Vampirina Halloween pumpkin tutorial is absolutely adorable and requires only a handful of items.
DIY Bo Peep Costume
If you have a Cricut, it’s a snap to make a DIY Bo Peep costume. Lindsay from See Lindsay has all of the details in an easy, step-by-step guide.
Frozen & Toy Story Pumpkin DIYs
Are the kiddos still singing “Let it Go” or have they moved on to “Into the Unknown”? Either way, if they’re still on a “Frozen” bender, this Anna, Elsa, and Olaf Halloween pumpkin tutorial will make them happy campers. Or is it wanderers? Thanks to Kayla at Mommy of a Princess for sharing.
And if you want adorable “Toy Story” pumpkin ideas, she’s your go-to gal, too.
