Rosen Inn International is one of those under-the-radar hotels in the Orlando area. Combining the look of an upper tier value resort, the amenities and freebies are plentiful. Here’s my full review of Rosen Inn International and why you need to consider a stay.
Rosen Inn International: The Basics
Rosen Inn International is located at 7600 International Drive in Orlando, FL. If you need a couple of landmarks to get your bearings, it’s around the corner from the largest McDonald’s in the world. I mean, you can literally drive into the McDonald’s parking lot and to access the gate for the hotel.
As for the proximity to Universal Orlando Resort, we could see Volcano Bay from our third floor window. We drove to the parks everyday, so knowing that the property is literally one exit away from Universal was very nice.
At the time I wrote this post, I checked Priceline for Rosen Inn International’s nightly rate for mid-July (peak season) and it was $63 per night plus fees. Of course, feel free to contact the hotel directly to see if it can offer a better rate. Additionally, nightly rate will fluctuate.

Rosen Inn International Rooms
For our stay, we had a room on the third floor of the right side tower facing the pool. It had two double beds, a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It also had a giant wooden closet where we could store our suitcases.
Each room has individual climate control and we were able to lower the temperature considerably when we were in the room, which was nice as the Florida sun shining in our window definitely heated it up.
As for the quiet level, it was pretty busy when we stayed. Having written that, we didn’t hear noise from the adjacent rooms at all.
Rosen Inn International Dining
At the time this post was written, and during our stay, none of the dining options were open apart from the sundries shop and bar. The property does offer a large breakfast buffet during normal times but it was closed temporarily.
Curious about the shop’s pizza, we did order three personal cheese style for dinner one night. It was very good, honestly. We had some leftovers and put them in the fridge and they don’t reheat well in the microwave. Just giving you the facts.
Rosen Inn International Amenities
Rosen Inn International has two outdoors pools, ideal for folks that aren’t close to the main pool. There’s also a children’s playground area and plenty of outdoor seating.
As for the lobby area, you’ll find a business center, cute arcade, and the sundries shop I mentioned above. On the fourth floor of our building are washers and dryers and we used them several times during our visit. They either take tokens or quarters depending on which one you use.
Rosen Inn International Freebies
When you stay at Rosen Inn International, you get plenty of freebies:
- Gated Parking
- Wifi
- No Resort Fees
- Use of Both Pools
- Shuttles to Universal Orlando Resort & Sea World. You’ll need to arrange drop off times 24 hours in advance.
Staff
Honestly, they were lovely during our stay. We had an issue one day where one of the washers took our tokens, so I went to the front desk and they replaced them immediately. Whenever I had questions about the property, they were very knowledgeable, too. Zero complaints, friends.
In a Nutshell
If you’re looking for affordable lodging near Universal Orlando, Rosen Inn International is a fine choice. The beds were comfy, our room was spacious, and the grounds and pools are lovely. I’d happily stay on property again.
Last, but not least, here’s the cool backstory of Rosen Hotels.
