Are you headed to Walt Disney World and want to transform your kiddo into a Disney Prince or Princess at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, but not sure which location to choose? From locations to benefits, here’s the scoop on which Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is better for your family.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique: An Overview
In a nutshell, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (BBB) is a way to give your child a Disney-style makeover. For both boys and girls ages 3-12, you can choose from several makeover styles. There’s everything from a simple Princess makeover to a more cool, hip transformation to the whole shebang. As the amount of makeover increases, so does the price. Also, castmembers are allowed to accept gratuities at BBB, and the norm is anywhere between 15-20%.
When it comes to time, you can expect to spend anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour once the makeover gets started. BBB is super popular, so locking down an appointment at 180 days, especially if you know the day you’ll be visiting, is a good idea.

Which Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Is Better?
This question can be answered in a couple of ways. Let’s talk about the biggies: availability and ambiance.
BBB in Magic Kingdom at Cinderella Castle is, by far, the most popular. Most days, it’s booked completely up, but there has been known to be openings on very low crowd days, so it never hurts to ask. If you have a child that wants to turn into a princess, transforming inside of a Disney castle is that much more magical.
Next in line for popularity is BBB at Disney Springs. I walked by the location several times last week and it was decently busy but the potential for a walk-up was there. In regards to ambiance, the location really is beautiful and there’s no need for a park ticket.
Last, BBB at Grand Floridian Resort, at this time, is the least busy. Honestly, I can chalk that up to it being so new. Again, very beautiful location in a swanky resort and no park ticket needed. If you have a dining reservation at GF, this location would be ideal.
So, here’s my honest advice: if your child wants the ultimate in pixie dust, and you have park tickets, go for BBB in Cinderella Castle. If you want to schedule BBB for a non-park day, Grand Floridian and Disney Springs make for very good alternates. While packages are slightly different at each location, prices are comparable.
